Work with me
Sometimes the opportunity is clear. What to do about it isn’t.
Maybe a major retailer has opened a door. Sales have plateaued. Your broker isn’t delivering. Trade spend is climbing faster than velocity. Or as a founder, you’re still carrying too much of the sales function.
That’s where I come in.
I work alongside founders and leadership teams of natural, organic, and specialty CPG brands to understand what’s really happening, decide where to focus, and help move the work forward.
My approach is collaborative and data-informed, drawing on experience across retail, brokerage, brands, and international market development.
We’ll start with your business priorities and agree on the work that will make the greatest difference.
Get clear on your next move.
Strategic Advisory
Good opportunities aren’t automatically good decisions.
A new channel, national account or broader assortment can drive growth - but it also puts pressure on margin, inventory, cash and your team. I can help you evaluate the commercial opportunity and make informed decisions about where to invest. That can include:
Go-to-market and route-to-market strategy: Channel priorities, target accounts, regional expansion, and distributor and broker selection.
Account and channel profitability: Pricing architecture, gross-to-net sales, customer P&Ls, and cost to serve.
Trade investment: Promotional strategy, trade spend, and return on investment.
Category and product strategy: Using category and consumer insights to inform positioning, assortment, and innovation.
Business priorities: Deciding which opportunities to pursue, which assumptions to test, and where to pull back.
Sales assessment: A focused one-day review of your sales performance, channels, customers, pricing, trade investment and route to market. We identify what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and the priorities most likely to move the business forward.
We can work together on a specific decision or through an ongoing advisory relationship.
Put experienced leadership behind your sales.
Fractional Sales Leadership
Your business needs senior commercial leadership, but a full-time hire may not be the right step.
I work alongside your team to lead the sales function or take responsibility for agreed parts of it. My role can include:
Building the annual sales plan, account priorities, and revenue forecasts.
Leading key account management and new business development.
Managing broker and distributor relationships, objectives, and performance.
Planning pricing, promotions, and trade budgets.
Tracking distribution, velocity, margins, and account performance.
Coaching sales team members and establishing clear responsibilities.
This isn’t advice from the sidelines. We’ll agree on what I own, how I work with your team, and the measures we’ll use to track progress.
Win new accounts. Grow the business you have.
Selective Brokerage
I represent a small number of passionate brands where my category experience, relationships and capacity mean I can make a meaningful difference.
My experience includes leading an in-house brokerage team serving Kroger through Daymon and developing accounts for natural and specialty brands.
For selected brands, I provide direct representation and account development, including:
Target account selection and buyer outreach.
Sales presentations, new-item submissions, and category review preparation.
Buyer meetings and commercial follow-up.
Coordination with distributor partners.
Promotional planning and ongoing assortment discussions.
Account reviews to identify distribution gaps and improve sales velocity.
I take on representation where my category knowledge, relationships, and capacity fit the brand. We’ll establish account coverage, responsibilities, and compensation before work begins.
Have a defined project?
Sometimes you need a specific piece of work completed. Projects can include:
A market or channel opportunity assessment.
A go-to-market plan.
A key account growth plan or category review presentation.
A pricing and trade spend review.
A broker or distributor performance assessment.
We’ll agree on the scope, deliverables, and timeline at the outset.
Establish and strengthen your U.S. presence.
For international brands, I provide U.S. market-development support and fractional country management. This can include market assessment, route-to-market planning, partner selection, and ongoing sales and account leadership.
Let’s talk.
Tell me where the business stands, what you’re working toward, and where you need support. We’ll work out the right engagement together.
